2008 Summer Programs
During the summer, we offer several exciting dance camps.  Each week-long camp includes
fitness, dance, crafts, games and more with a different dance theme.  

We also offer Tiny Tutus and First 4 during the summer for our toddler and pre-school students,
as well as Dance Intensives for older students.  As always, private lessons are available for any
age student in the discipline of your choosing.  
Back by popular demand!
Cinderella, Belle, Snow White and the like will enjoy
dancing, songs and stories.  Learn to dance and
behave like a Princess.  Make crafts fit for royalty.  
Available to aspiring princesses ages 4-9.

Pixies frolic in the forest and dance to beautiful
music.  Come listen to enchanting tales.  Wander
through the woodlands and make magical crafts.
Available to fluttering fairies ages 4-9.

July 28-August 1
Cost:  $125
Join Old MacDonald for a Barnyard Dance.  Boys
& Girls will have fun with fitness, music, games
and crafts.  Enjoy songs and stories down on the
farm.  Come do-si-do with our animal friends.  
Available to farm hands ages 3-9.

July 21-25
Cost:  $85
Jazz it up and have a ton of fun!  Have a
blast with dancing, fitness, crafts and more.
 Learn about hair, make-up and what it
takes to be a star.  Discover your star
qualities and get your shine on!  Available
to rising stars ages 8-12.

July 21-25
Cost:  $85
A combination class consisting of Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Fitness
movements.  First 4 is designed to provide pre-school students (ages 3-5)
with a foundation for all dance subjects.  Ballet teaches poise and
gracefulness while Tap develops rhythm and counting skills.  Jazz and
Fitness build strength, flexibility and coordination.

Thursdays 6:00-7:00PM       July 10-31       Cost:  $45
A special 30-minute class designed to expose two-and three-year-olds
to dance and the classroom.  Tiny Tutus focuses on coordination,
following directions, movement and stretching.  Basic Ballet is also
introduced.  Music and pretend allow your child to develop creativity
while improving balance and gross motor skills.  This class is designed
for independent toddlers who can remain in the classroom without a
parent or care-giver.

Challenging Workshops for the advanced dancer age 10 & over.

Both Dance Intensives:  $150
Available to all ages and abilities.  Private lessons are tailored to the
individual student and can be scheduled in any subject.

~ BASIC   SUMMER   INFORMATION ~
  • Space is limited in all programs, so please register early!  Registration deadline is June 30, 2008.
  • All programs require a $25 non-refundable deposit.  This deposit will be fully applied toward
    your summer tuition.  Balances must be paid in full on or before the first day of class/camp.
  • Minimum enrollment is required for each program to be held.
  • Snacks will be served at Princess, Mermaid, Barnyard and Fairy camps.  If your child has food
    allergies, please send a snack from home.

Tiny Tutus:  leotard, tights, pink leather Ballet shoes
First 4:  leotard, tights, pink leather Ballet shoes, black Tap shoes
Dancing Princess Camp:  leotard, tights, pink leather Ballet shoes
Enchanted Mermaid Camp:  leotard, tights, pink leather Ballet shoes
Dancing Barnyard Camp:  leotard, tights, pink leather Ballet shoes, your own stuffed animal
Dancing Diva Camp:  leotard, tights, black Jazz shoes, shorts & t-shirt or other cover-up
Fairy Ballerina Camp:  leotard, tights, pink leather Ballet shoes
Leaps & Turns Intensive:  leotard, tights, Jazz or Lyrical shoes
Fitness & Flexibility Intensive:  leotard, tights, bare feet
~All hair must be pulled up off the face and neck.
~Jewelry is not permitted except for small stud earrings (no hoops).
~Please label all personal belongings.  Starlight Dance Academy is not responsible for lost articles.
