Starlight Dance Academy, located on Route 910 in Cheswick, Pennsylvania (PA) serves the areas near Fox Chapel, Oakmont and Harmar
north east of Pittsburgh.  The studio offers dance classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop, Pointe, Tumbling, Fitness and Zumba
for children and adults.  Dance classes are offered for pre-school children as young as age two as well as for school age children, teens and
adults.  We aim to provide excellent dance instruction in a caring and supportive environment.  Our positive, nurturing atmosphere allows every
child to shine.
For thirteen years, Starlight Dance Academy
has put on an annual performance each June.
The performance provides our students with
an exciting opportunity to show their families
and friends the results of a year’s hard work,
dedication and progress. We strive to
produce family-friendly entertainment using
age-appropriate music, costumes and
choreography. Our performance is not
mandatory. However, learning through
performance is an exciting and educational
experience in which all our students are
encouraged to participate. Performing on
stage helps build self-esteem and confidence
in each child. The preparation process helps
the children develop retention skills, and
teaches each class to work as a team to
achieve the best end result.
Our performance philosophy is one of fun, not
stress!
