Starlight Dance Academy held a Ballet Garden Camp this morning. Our "flower girls" danced, planted a pretend garden, made flowers and had tons of fun. This was the last of of our Summer Camps this year. Princess and Mermaid Camps were also big hits during July.
Starlight Dance Academy teachers Janine Adams, Kathy Beiber and Amanda Newton just got back from Music Works training seminar. We are bursting with new ideas and excited to prepare our lesson plans. Thanks to Darryl, Doug, Janice, Becca & Reagan for a refreshing and motivational weekend (sore muscles included)!
Starlight Dance Academy hosted a Broadway Workshop last Friday night. Our advanced students enjoyed a two-hour Jazz class with Chris Suchan. Chris gave a great seminar in Fosse' technique and choreography. The students had a blast learning and performing the "Hot Honey Rag" from the show Chicago.
